“Fill our minds with His truth and our hearts with His love, that in His spirit we may be bonded together in a community of faith, family and a caring people.”
Bible Studies: Have you noticed that Zion’s calendar is filled with opportunities for Bible Studies?

Lewis’ Prince Caspian, a 5-week study on the Angels of the Bible, and a Wild at Heart group for men. More information about all of these new studies will be available at the ministry fair and in the March Newsletter. There are also ongoing study opportunities such as Women of Zion circles, Women United in Faith, Men’s Ministry groups and Hymns of Faith, Contact the office or visit the church website for details and sign up information.

How is God calling you to share your faith, time and talent at Zion?
“Fill our minds with His truth and our hearts with His love, that in His spirit we may be bonded together in a community of faith, family and a caring people.”
Wednesday Supper Volunteers: Wednesday night suppers are a great way to eat a delicious hot meal, greet and meet friends and neighbors. Volunteer supper teams come to cook, serve, and clean up on a 5 week rotation. Additional help is needed especially for the soup/chili team and the chicken kiev team. Contact Cindy Bonde (684.1467) or Dorothy Valentine (682.6695).
Homebound Communion Visitors: Communion at Zion continues long after the 10:30 service has finished every first Sunday of the month. Volunteer visitors take the communion elements out to those who cannot join us here at Zion for worship. This is an excellent way to extend worship beyond Zion’s walls and also offer a friendly visit to some of our homebound members. Training is available. How is God calling you to share your faith, time and talent at Zion?
In the name and spirit of Jesus, we commit ourselves to be good stewards of the gifts entrusted to us, to share in our time, our talents and our gifts as an outward sign of the treasure we hold in Jesus.
Communion Visitors: Prepare or assist with Holy Communion by helping on the Altar Guild, by serving communion, or by visiting homebound Zion members to bring communion to their homes. Contact Sherilyn Burgdorf.
Food For Friends: Food For Friends is a ministry to help ease the burden of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who are going through a particularly difficult time in their life.
Make and deliver a warm meal, help cook and package freezer meals on a Sat morning or after Wednesday night suppers, deliver a freezer meal yourself, donate funds or simply let us know who could use a meal! Contact Julie Kabe.

The March 2 Ministry Fair will highlight all of Zion’s ministries in the community and in the world and help members to identify and connect with ministries that they may have an interest in. Until then, watch the special bulletin inserts during 40 Days of Community for information about some featured ministries at Zion. Contact Sam or Lois Monson for more information.
This will organize and develop an event where people become connected into serving in Zion’s ministries.
Co leaders of the Ministry Fair Committee are Sam & Lois Monson. Other members of the Ministry Fair Committee are join this committee.
