Pray that the Kick-Off event will be one of God’s catalysts that will ignite enthusiasm, participation, and commitment during the 40 Days of Community.
Pray that God would move in the hearts of the people attending the Kick-Off event and cause a groundswell of response to this challenge to participate in 40 Days of Community.
As we prepare for the upcoming 40 Days of Community we may want to take the advise in the words of Martin Luther “Tomorrow I plan to work, work from early until late. In fact, I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.”

Kick off the 40 Days in Toe-tappin’ Gospel Style
Zion members, family and friends from the community are invited to the kick off events for the 40 Days of Community on January 13.
Special gospel music at 8:30 from Zion’s Senior Choir and bell choirs.
Monroe Crossing & Jubilee will participate in the 10:30 worship service.
After the 10:30 service, make plans to stay at Zion for a down-home cookin’ (catered by Reds) meal. There will be a minimal cost for the meal to cover expenses ($5 individual / $20 family).
Then plan to stay after the meal to hear a wonderful concert by Monroe Crossing at 1:00pm. A great way to warm up a cold January day! Take time to invite friends and neighbors for this special Sunday or consider tickets as a unique Christmas gift ($15 adults / $12 students & seniors / $45 family).
Tickets for both events are available from the church office or online, tickets purchased online will be held at the door:
