Lent is early this year, so40 Days of Community is just around the corner, with the “Kickoff” on January 13th.

40 Days of Community is designed to answer the question, “What on earth are WE here for?” and gives participants the opportunity to not only learn about why God calls us to be connected in community with each other, but why it is also important to serve our community together.

For six weeks the small groups will gather in homes or at church, watch a weekly video teaching session and review and discuss our 40 Days devotional book. Then participants will take action on what you are learning by doing a community service project together. Small Group Hosts are needed. Anyone can be a host at church or in their home, whichever works the best.

Stop by the 40 Days Booth—“Zion Inside Out”, in the Narthex, to sign up or to ask questions. Additional information is also available at the booth. The goal is to turn our church inside out by growing together within and reaching out to help others in our Community.

To take part in a Small Group, stop by the “Zion Inside Out” Booth and sign up. It doesn’t matter if you are single, married, divorced, male, female, with or without kids, young or young at heart, there is a small group for you! What type of group would you like to join? Groups are starting to form now. Invite a friends, family and neighbors and take advantage of this opportunity together.
